Paleo Pizza no Carbs

So I gotta say, this pizza really surprised me. It is super delicious and great to make for a weekend cheat meal. This is a low carb primal recipe, not paleo. I still love my dairy..lol All ingredients I bought were organic. So lets gets started on how to make this yummy pizza.

Ingredients:
For the crust:

  •  1 (8oz) package of full fat cream cheese at room temp.
  • 2 large eggs or 3 medium eggs
  • ground black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese

For the pizza:

  •   1/2 cup of marinara sauce*
  • a pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of oregano
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • sauteed pepperoni
  • garlic powder

*For the marinara sauce if you wanted to make your own and make it sugar free, you can use tomato sauce with no added sugar and use your own seasonings for tasting. I used an organic marinara sauce w/ garlic added which had 7grams of carbs and 1gram of sugar for the 1/2 cup.

Directions:
For the crust:

  •  Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Butter a 9 x 13 baking dish
  • Blend cream cheese and eggs and season with pepper and garlic powder
  • Add parmesan cheese and stir until combined
  • Pour into buttered baking dish
  • Bake for 17 minutes or until golden brown
  • Let crust cool for 10 minutes before adding toppings

The crust is not crisp like an original pizza so make sure you cook it till the top is golden brown.

  • After the crust is cooked, raise oven to 400 degrees
  • Mix together marinara sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and oregano
  • Top with mozzarella cheese
  • Add toppings
  • Bake for 8 minutes or until cheese is bubbly

You don’t have to add just pepperoni for your toppings. I added ham and mushrooms to mine. It was yummy. Happy eating y’all!
