TRAIN WITH PURPOSE

Getting to the gym isn't always easy, especially when you aren't motivated. As your trainer I will help you not only set realistic goals, but I will strive to renew your excitement about training.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, build muscle mass, or just get "fit", I will design your specific program to get you there faster than you imagined.

 

 

A little about me. I am an ISSA certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. My training style combines strength training with metabolic conditioning. I don't believe in spending countless hours on stationary "cardio" equipment - that's BORING and not nearly as effective as a good METCON complex.

I offer one-on-one and partner training sessions in 30 or 60 minute blocks. I train all my clients in North Austin (near the Domain) at GYM ONE located at 2545 Brockton Drive #300, Austin, TX 78758.

 

Types of Training Sessions I Offer

General Fitness

For men and women who just wish to "get back in shape" this is the type of training we usually start with. Your sessions will consist of fast paced, circuit training style workouts that make use of various weights and accessories. We'll aim to improve overall health while gaining strength and burning fat. These sessions are usually 30 to 60 minutes.

Muscle Building

If your goals include adding mass to your frame, then these sessions will be for you. These intense body building style workouts will focus primarily on free and machine weight training using slow eccentric movements to induce the maximum amount of hypertrophy (muscle growth) per workout. These sessions are usually 60 to 90 minutes in length.

Strength & Conditioning

For those with more athletic ambitions, strength and conditioning sessions are the best of both worlds.  We'll focus on building your strength and endurance using weighted movements or a combination of lifting and then circuit training. Session can last from 30 to 60 minutes.

Powerlifting Coaching

If you're currently a power lifter or curious about entering the sport, I offer novice, intermediate and elite level programming and coaching. I'll work with you to break through plateaus, overcome weaknesses and improve your technique all resulting in you setting new personal records on the platform.

I became a personal trainer because fitness changed my life and I wanted others to share that experience. I am dedicated to not only helping my clients achieve their goals, but also in sharing my knowledge so that you can make informed decisions both in and out of the gym. Most of my clients will tell you that my coaching extends beyond our sessions. Afterall, I may only see you for a few hours a week - what you do between then matters just as much as what you do during our workouts.
